Savola World

The Establishment:

• The "Savola World Foundation" was established in 28th of October 2019, by the "Savola Group" under license No. (1007) under the supervision of the Ministry of Human Resources and Social Development, Savola World Foundation is a Private Foundation, under the law of NGOs and civil institutions issued by the Council of Ministries No. (61) dated 02/18/ 1437 AH and its Executive Regulations issued by Ministerial Resolution No. (73739) dated 06/11/1437 AH. The Foundation is located in Jeddah city, with an aim to work Kingdom-wide. Savola World owns a legal entity, represented by the Board of Trustees in accordance with the terms of reference contained in the basic regulations of the institution and approved by the competent authorities.

Overview:

• The Savola World Foundation was established to give more focus on sustainability and social responsibility goals. The Foundation works with executive management that is supervised by a Board of Trustees. The management implements the directives of the Board
•  This step comes to complement and enhance the previous efforts of the Savola Group (the Founder) in the CSR and sustainability field. The foundation looks into the best local and international practices in the field and of non-profit NGOs.
• The new legal status of the Savola World Foundation enables it to obtain support, finance, and enter into partnerships with entities in the public and private sectors that have common goals, and it also enables it to contribute to addressing the goals of sustainability and social development in light of the Saudi national vision 2030, and the United Nations' Sustainable Development Goals (SDGs). The Savola Group ((the Founder) allocates an annual budget to support the Foundation to continue to implement and develop the sustainability & CSR programs and initiatives.
