A two day workshop: “means to implement the core issues identified in Crown Prince Abdullah’s opinion document on higher education” was conducted at King Abdul Aziz University on Monday January 31 to Tuesday February 1. The objective of the workshop is to find ways to improve the education system and its content.
A lecture titled “Service-Learning at King Abdul Aziz University: A Successful Implementation in a Web Authoring Course for Women” was presented during the second day of the workshop. The lecture showed a successful partnership between the Computer Science Department and the Savola Group which decided to support the KAAU CS Department Service Learning initiative and to embrace it as part of its Corporate Social Responsibility and its commitment to the community.
